First post! Welcome!

Hello every one and welcome to my summer project: 15 in 15.

Essentially this project came about in my quest to keep my mind from stagnation as the summer was approaching. Since I wasn't taking summer school and instead just working alot, I began to think about what I could do to keep my mind sharp. The answer: try to read 15 books in 15 weeks. I was encouraged by the examples of people like my sister, my mom, and "bloggers" like Tim Challies who seem to read books, big and small, through discipline and then share their experiencing of those books with others. I like books alot, so I figured, hey why not? As I told my friends Brent and Claire about it, they seemed to be into the idea as well and decided to go along with me as well. So really, (Lord willing) at the end of the summer it won't be 15 books in 15 weeks, it'll be 45 books in 15 weeks!

(Please note: this is subject to change depending on a few factors, however, if something changes, a note will be made by review time.)


The hope is that when we're done reading a book, we can write a small review about it if you were ever intending on buying such a book for yourself. I've tried to get theological, Christian life, historical, etc. books to change things up continually.

What we will NOT be doing is disregarding the reading of Scripture. That seems to be a first question when I tell people about the idea, and just know now, it isn't a dichotomy type deal where we only read one or the other. We simply just won't be talking about reading the Bible.
